How to complete Safeguarding Youth Training online
To complete the training online, you will need to have an account or set up an account at https://my.scouting.org/.
When you set up your my.scouting account, you should enter your Scouting membership ID so your account is linked to your official records. Without entering a membership ID, the completion of the training will not be recorded in your training records.

Youth Protection Mission Statement
True youth protection can be achieved only through the focused commitment of everyone in Scouting. It is the mission of Youth Protection volunteers and professionals to work within Scouting America to maintain a culture of Youth Protection awareness and safety at the national, regional, area, council, district, and unit levels.
Youth Protection Training (YPT) has been replaced with Safeguarding Youth Training (SYT) as of May 2025. The training must be completed annually.
