A new fee structure will take effect on January 1, 2027. National fees will increase from $85 to $96 for youth and from $60 to $72 for adults. Council fees are not increasing. The annual charter fee for each unit will increase to $120.
The good news is that pro-rated fees are returning in 2027! All units will recharter in February each year, and fees can be pro-rated from any point during the year through February of the following year.
You can save by renewing early! Any 2027 fees paid before December 31, 2026, will be charged at the current rates, before the increases take effect. Renewing and paying your fees before January 1 is a great way to save!
