Blue Vase Award
The Northern Lights Council’s Blue Vase Award comes from the book The Go Getter: A Story That Tells You How To Be One by Peter B. Kyne. The award is presented at the annual staff planning conference in January to the staff member deemed by the District Management team to have demonstrated his or her ability and willingness to be a “Go Getter” within their area of responsibility.
Back in the late 80’s and early 90’s the award was presented annually. From October 2016 to February 2018, the award was presented monthly. It became an annual award again in 2020.
